DH invited MIL over for dinner on Saturday by text and she didn't respond. He called her on Sunday and she didn't answer, he left a voice mail.
I texted her today with exciting news about one of the kids, she didn't answer.
We talked about how weird this is, she usually responds within minutes, especially when it's about the kids. And she never turns down dinner (we usually invite her once or twice a month, nothing fancy or big). We realized neither one of us have heard from her since early last week. This is unusual. We get along well and communicate frequently. (Not daily, but several times a week). She also hasn't commented or liked anything of ours on the devil for several days. She ALWAYS likes pics I post of the kids.
So.....DH is going to go to her house to check on her.
Are we BSC? Are we over reacting? I'm worried about her, but will feel dumb if she's just enjoying her peace and quiet at home.
Is a week of no contact worthy of a well-check?
But, I'd rather look BSC than have her be sick and needing help.
