So we have not spoken to fil since september 2011. We were renting an apartment from him and my 3 year old step son got lead poisoning.We immediatly went and stayed with my mil to prevent more exposure(they are divorced) His level was a 20 and normal is below 3. So the house was inspected and there was lead paint found on the porch and all the trim work around the house. So fil had to fix it and we said we would not move back in until it was done.So he said fine you have 3 days to get out. He took his key to the apartment back that day. So the next day we start moving our stuff out of there. He asks about us leaving the lights on until he finds new renters. My dh tells him that I had already had it cancelled for monday. Fil freaks out says" I am going to shut her off". My dh and him get into a verbal fight we leave. Fil locks us out of the house with only half our stuff. So now fil wants to move forward. Would you go back to talking to this man? He has not seen my 4 year old since she was 2 months old and we have a 1 year old hes never met.
