ok so I have shared custody of my oldest children. They go to their dads every other weekend. My pils ask for them every other Sunday because they know we have them that day. I let them go occasionally but I hate that they're always asking. Yes they're with me during the week but it's chaotic. SO doesn't understand why I say no. Even if I don't have plans sometimes it's nice to just be home with them and not have to be anywhere. They asked to do something tomorrow with us tomorrow but YDD has a low grade fever so we decided best to stay home. Then they asked to take my ODD and DS for the day. I feel like when we said no that should've been enough but they keep pushing. I asked my SO what they were going to do and wanted a time frame for when they wanted them. His response "why does it matter". Sunday is a school night and I love having a routine it keeps things going smooth. What would you say to pils to get them to back off?
