MIL Help...As Usual.

First of all me and my MIL haven't always seen eye to eye. There were occassions where she called my DH and complained about me not calling or not including her in my pregnancy. That was all dealt with.


But my DH went on a business trip, and we're allowed to come with him, and the trip is in the same state where we grew up. Our parents live an hour from the hotel he has to stay in, so we decided that I'll stay with my mom and during the weekend he'll drive down to see us.


Now during the week I went to drive to MIL a couple of times so she can see LO. Now she asked if she can see her twice a week. I said no problem but you're going to have to drive by my mom's house. I don't have a separate car. Now all of a sudden she says she can't drive there, mind you my mom moved and they now live 10 minutes away from each other. I asked her why and she claims that the road is bad and stuff about her car so to reschedule it for next week.


To make a long story short, I need advice on dealing with MIL. DH can't really deal with her since he's busy with work and I'm not here for that long. So I do want her to see her grandchild, but the woman just won't listen to me. And I know she'll try and make it as a problem to H and I don't want this to put a strain in our marriage.
