Well Hubby, grandpa died today. He was extremly LC we hadn't talked to him since our wedding in 2012 mainly because we cut off FIL who is GFIL son. Now the issue is my husband I already know is going to want to go to the funeral.
I'm 38 weeks pregnant today and yeah I assume I'll be around 39 weeks pregnant when said funeral happens. He would also like me to go as support. Our daughter is off limits and wont go period FIL has never met her and it will stay that way.
My concern isn't so much going but the flying monkeys and family martyrs that will come along. We don't speak to FIL at all I haven't since may 2013 maybe so 3 years and it's been so peaceful. Hubby tried once in 2014 didn't work out so we left it this way. BiL and his girlfriend are also cut off no issue their we all pretty much cut each other off. We don't like them they don't like us.
The rest of the family is extremely LC where most have never seen my daughter thankfully. I'm freaking out we are going to go and everything is going to change my status quo. I don't want to be hey I'm not going period and husband angry cause I'm not there to support him. But I feel this is not worth a risk to my sanity at 38-39 weeks pregnant.
