My DS is 14 months and my MIL watches him on the two days I work. My MIL has always been one to cause problems and try and come between my DH and myself. Lately she has been pushing my DH and I to give her a car seat so she can take my DS on "outings" when she watches him. My husband and I are completely against her taking him places while we work. I don't know what kind of driver she is and I don't trust that she would always buckle him in properly. We also don't want to have to be wondering where DS is while we are stuck at work. This past weekend she told my DH that she was just going to get a car seat and take my DS out and just not tell me. I know that I need to make it very clear that she is not allowed to take him places while she is babysitting. Anyone have suggestions on some points to say in my conversation with her? We are meeting for lunch tomorrow to talk. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!!
