Hi, long time lurker (3 years). I've read the sticky and have my big girl panties on. I know I shouldn't be sending this email, but my DUH is telling me that he refuses to "play referee" anymore. (Before anyone asks, yes, we are about to start marriage counseling. I've found a non-unicorny one--I think--and had an intake, but haven't actually started yet because of the holiday). I don't feel like I can ignore an issue that happened with MIL over Christmas. Please give feedback on the following:
MIL,
You are not to attempt to teach the boys to call you "Memom" or any variation of "mom" again. It is confusing to them and offensive to me.
Also, we will not need you to come watch the boys for us at the end of January. I have made other arrangements.

There were many other issues, but I dont want to get into a big back and forth. Thoughts?
