I don't know if I'm reading too much into this or if it's actual truth. I've been married to DH for 2 years, I'm 30 and he is 32. We have a two year old baby boy.
I'm a social media junkie, and you'll find me uploading photos everyday. I'm not a selfie prude. My parents, in laws and DH are all on Facebook. My profile photos are of me, DH and I, me and DS or DS alone. In my other albums, my photos are of me at the beach, partying or with DH in our travels.
My FIL added me in June. When I accepted his request, I logged off and went to bed. In the morning, I woke up to over 40 notifications all from FIL. They were likes and comments. His comments were odd for someone who is my FIL. Here are some of the comments:
So sexy....amazing....beautiful....omg drooling....you little hottie.....why are you so young and married to J(DH)...your body is perfection....love your hair. Makes you sexy. Don't change the color or cut it.
Those comments rubbed me the wrong way. People who know he's my FIL messaged me asking what's up with him. I showed DH and he thinks they're innocent comments. Okie dokie, no big deal. Wrong. He messaged me in private and asked
"What's up sexy?" You radiate with love.
I ignored the message. At a BBQ I was wearing a bikini, he asked in front everyone, if I wax or shave. Wtf? He told them he wasn't being crude, he just wanted to know since I have no hairy legs.
How this man acts makes me want to puke. DH thinks I am being conscious and making assumptions on nothing.
Am I wrong for feeling uncomfortable? I've hidden myself when at his house or if we are at other family members houses. He asked me this week why I haven't responded to his message. What should I say or do?
