So we are having some yucky weather and it's mostly ice not safe to drive on obviously. Not to mention where we live currently the front steps are very unsafe when there is ice on them (death trap)..well my MIL is just dead set she is coming regardless.. I really want to tell her to eat a bag, just wait until it's clear in 2 days but no... her way it must be. I swear it's only a matter of time before I tell her to fuck off literally. How many times do your inlaws visit and are they super obsessed with coming when they want to? I've done a lot of smiling and just ignoring for the past almost 6 months but I'm just tired.. they come in and pretty much scoop lo up and I don't get him back until they leave. They do live 30 minutes away so I try and be mindful they don't visit every single day. For the first few months it was once a week and when I went back to work it's tapped down to once every other week. I'm tired, DH is tired and lo is just exhausted from daycare. So we try and keep visits spread out to enjoy the time we do have with each other. Give me some good puns here for laughs I love reading these boards!
