Let me start off my saying I adore my xmil, her son was a complete idiot, but she stayed out of our problems and despite her son abandoning my kids, she has maintained contact with me because of the kiddos as well as we had a good friendship for many years. I have no problem with her but I am concerned about what she is about to do next month.
I know it's not my circus but I need to stop this woman from causing issues in my xbil life. He and his so just had a baby awhile back, and I guess my xbil and his so have been having issues, my xmil is upset and thinks his so may be have ppd, she plans on going over there next month when she visits and wants to give her brochures on depression and couples counsiling.
Am I wrong in assuming this is a boundary stomp. I know I'd be pissed of she walked in my home with brochures on how to treat her son nicer. I told her they are young parents and need to figure it out themselves. But she seems determined to have a ctj with them both. How can I stop her from making this huge mistake?
