Hi dwil! I am a returning user of bbc. I deleted my account not too long ago. My old sn contained my real name and I wasn't comfortable with that anymore. I really need to know how to deal with situation so I created a new account.
So my question is before I explain the situation do I have the right to feel disrespected and upset? Because I am.
Fsil lives down south. So and I up north. Fsil and her DH will be graduating from college together in a few months. Fsil really wants SO to be there. He mised her wedding(he wanted to be there but unavoidable circumstances didn't allow him) and her birthday party so him coming means a lot to her. SO informed her that he's not sure if he will attend. He is really focused on our family, and working and earning more for us.
She's been texting him non stop asking if he's coming. He said he wasn't sure if he'll be able to make it and if he were to go WE would be going as a family with our 10 month old ds. She offered to pay his ticket in a text message he didn't respond. He already told her he will let her know.
So today she sends him a text saying she booked him a flight and the return date if 5 days after departure! In all honesty we were probably going to end up going anyways, I'm so pissed I don't even want to now. Am I supposed to get on a flight alone with ds??
I just feel like she completely disrespected our family. She has no idea what we have going on. If I stayed home and SO went I wouldn't even be able to work as LO stays with SO when I do. He lives with his family! We have a lot going on right now and SO didn't want to make a commitment until we bought the tickets. I also feel embarrassed like we're poor. We have money to book the trip now. But we're holding off because we're shopping for a new car, summer shopping for ds and me paying for school. All of those things are more important.
