This is sensitive. I'm posting anon, but have friends on here who know of my issue. If you recognize me, I ask you keep quiet.
Two months ago I was cleaning out my Grandma's attic. She's a hoarder (spelling?), so there were things from the 60's. I found many photo albums and sat down reminiscing on my family. In one album, there was a photo of my grandma, grandpa, my mom, uncle, and aunt. On the same page, there was another photo, which was on the same day because my mom and aunt were wearing the same clothes. In the photo, it was my mom, aunt and a cousin. At the back of the photo, the year was written, and there was description of the photo. It was in 1978, and the description said "Jane (made up name) and her sister Georgia (mun) with cousin Ellen (mun). Jane is pregnant here." I was curious because Jane is my aunt, and doesn't have any kids born in 78. I was born in 78. Looking through the album, I found a family photo of my moms side of the family. It was in 1980, and in the photo, my mom was holding a baby, and aunt Jane was standing on the opposite side. Aunt Jane wasn't holding any baby. Neither were any other babies in the photo. The back of the photo said who was in the photo, and it said Georgia and Zoe (me). In the photo, the baby looked two. Aunt Jane has two kids, one born in 83 and the other in 85. I was born in 78.
Confused as hell, I asked my uncle and their cousin Ellen who in the family was born in 78. They said me and a male cousin. The male cousin is a distant cousin. I asked my aunt Jane and she said she only knew of me born in 78.
Why I think Jane is my mom? I was born November, 1978. The photo was taken in the summer of 78.
Suspicious, I asked my mom about 1978 and she couldn't remember certain things. Going through my grandmas things again, I found a family tree drawing, and it links Jane to having three kids, and Georgia having two. The drawing was in 1989. By 1989, Georgia should have had three kids.
The bad thing of this is that Jane and I are in a Time Out. I placed her in Time Out because she kept badgering me about my kids, wanting to babysit them, go on birthday parties with us, and using Georgia as reason for being in thr know. Jane at a party threw a cake on the ground because she felt family members were blocking her from things, and making her look bad.
I'm confused. All roads point to Jane being my mom. I don't know where to start.
