DH comes home from deployment tomorrow. Today he had a lay over in Ireland and told me he was going to spend 150 on a bottle of whiskey. He recently bought himself a $1500 laptop. I told him that it wasn't a smart purchase and to not buy it. We don't have that kind of money to
blow on whiskey. MlL calls and asks what's wrong (DH) must of told her we were fighting. She says I should let him and that the only person allowed to tell him no is his mom. I don't think that's right at all. He would of had to taken money from savings. Savings is only meant to be used in emergencies. Whiskey is not a damn emergency. DH was being so rude saying, "this isn't a discussion I'm getting it" if I said that to him he would be furious. I am a SAHM but that doesn't mean I don't have equal say over money. We're not struggling but we don't have $150 for Whiskey especially after his laptop plus the costs of travel next month for his leave. I'm so upset and he comes home tomorrow. How am I suppose to act all happy when he and MIL completely disrespected me.
