So... A bit of BG, my dh (formerly DUH) had a mother-hubby type thing going (sorted out now on his end) due to a huge conflict at bubs 1st bday (she's from o/seas so tried to become (think you call it) GBIC(?)... Told me off for how I did things with DS, her visit was changed from 21days staying with us to 6 days, because on the 4th day she threw a tantrum and decided to stop speaking to me. She thinks less of me (as I'm not her ideal DIL & thinks hubby can do better). Due to the fight she isn't allowed to stay in our house and she says she won't visit (though I believe she will once she learns #2 is on its way- we are trying!)
She continually interferes between members of the family (call GMIL, email cousin etc) and tells us to send out thank you cards (for 1st bday pressies) & it's so tiresome!
She recently sent an email with some news about hubby's friends and directed him to 'contact' friend.
How do we word an email saying thanks for the update but back off with the demands? Or do we have to just not make her our source of info?
