I have a backbone!

Hi all, 

So I've just emailed my parents to let them know that I wont tollerate ill-treatment towards my nuclear family, so I have no choice but to TO.

*I chose to email them as I don't wish to have any contact with them right now.

Now, being that I know my parents and their tempers, I half expect them to come to our home to abuse us in regards to being put on a TO.

What is the best way to handle the fallout of a TO?
