Please help us!!!
Long story short (or at least I'll try) my boyfriend and I live with his mom and husband along with their two daughters. We're all young adults (23 years and up)
My boyfriend and I moved in with his parents because they extended the offer so we could focus on college. We ended up getting pregnant and our son is 8 months. It's been AWFUL.
For the past 6 months I've made a point to avoid his mom at all costs. This is because she ignores my existence, calls herself mommy or mom in regards to my son. Has creepy photos of her around the house with my son. Like taped onto doors and stuff! Demands that she get personal time with him everyday. Slides notes under the door or outside the door to have our son for bonding time. Buys herself baby gear that she doesn't even need. (Crib, pack and play, jumper, swing, bath tub, stroller with car seat, just so on.
Tonight she went off on my boyfriend in front of her husband and his two sisters saying that we're robbing her of her grandparent experiences and that because we live here she is entitled to as much time as she wants with him.
We don't know what to do. Obviously we need to get out. We just have NO money for that. Like at all! The car we drive isn't ours it's an extra car she owns because she has us sell ours because 'it would cost too much to fix than it's worth'
I'm just not even sure what options we have right now. Or what to even do!
