Trust Your Gut

I've had the nagging feeling the past few days that I need to go online and see if any family members have posted or shared photos of LO. Our rule is no one gets to post online except mommy and daddy and what we post is very limited (debil only) and our privacy settings are basically locked down. We've never used LO's name only, only the first letter of his first name. He'll be 10 months at the end of this month.

I thought things were going well and that people were respecting our wishes. However, I still go and check periodically to make sure.

Well MIL has shared photos that I've posted of LO. However, she's hidden them from me. I only saw because I looked at her profile from DH's computer. (We both know each others passwords and use each others electronic devices).

Since she didn't post them I don't have to report it. She shared what I had posted so only people that could already see it from my list would be able to see it anyway. I changed her to an acquaintance and updated all photos and albums so they are visible to friends and not acquantances. I viewed my profile as her and she can't see much of anything anymore.

DH and I chatted about it and he agrees it's messed up that she disrespected our wishes and is going to give her a call in the morning.

Just a reminder to trust your gut when it comes to your family.
