So my mother in law likes everything the way she wants it and that's it. She got mad when I told her we will not be telling anyone when I'm going into labor. We will announce it once he's here. For reason such as her blowing up our phones and acting crazy, not needed while giving birth! She did not like that at all and I continued to tell her that this is our choice as parents and I would respect her if she was having a baby and wanted this. She texted my hubby and asked why I'm having my shower at my church and why are we raising in him the church....um hello that is our choice not hers! I told her she needs to respect my choices as I am the mother. She is not there to raise my son, but obviously she thinks her input matters. I just told her at the end of the day we will be doing what we feel is best for him. And she continued on to tell my hubs that it is perfectly fine that we agreed on these things. But I'm done dealing with his crazy mom, he can deal with her not me lol. Blocked on fb. & blocked number. She thinks she needs to know all our plans and the way we are going to raise him. But that's none of her beeswax, just between me and my hubs! I should've done this awhile ago, as a grandmother you have rights to see your grandkids but those rights sometimes have to be taken away. Especially if you don't respect me & hate me as the mother. Hopefully she will not text my husband complaining about me...It's sad that an elder is more immature than younger people. Sometimes I wish I knew what went on in her multi personality mind.
