Inlaws invaded after my D&C for miscarriage

Today I had a D&C for a miscarriage.  It was awful (as to be expected), especially since I have known it was coming all week and had a super hectic work week.  The night before I barely got any sleep since I worked until 2:30 and was up by 4:45 to finish working before I had the procedure.

My SIL graciously watched our kids today.  I told DH not to go into details with anyone, and to tell everyone I did not want to talk about it.  He had told his parents about he pregnancy, and then told them about the miscarriage/D&C.

I come home after an aganozing 9 hour day just going to the hospital, and am preparing to see my SIL and kids (since I wanted to avoid breaking down).  I walked in and thought I heard her husband, and realized my inlaws were in my house (they live 6 hours away).  I hate surprise visits, and my DH told them not to talk about it to me before today.

Feeling traumatized and overwhelmed.  DH told them they had to leave, but not sure what to do now.  I actually hid in the basement and called my mom hyperventilating and crying.  They are in town for the weekend and staying with SIL and her husband tonight.  Worried they may try to come over tomorrow.  HELP!!!

EDIT:  DH had no idea they were coming.  I'm a little undone, so sorry if that wasn't clear.  I spent a 45 minute ride home alternately ranting and crying, even told my post-OP nurse as long as my ILs didn't come I would be OK.  Then walked in, braced myself to put on a happy face until SIL left and the kids were in bed, and heard my MIL.  I ran to the basement (didn't even say hello to ODS which I still feel awful about).  DH kicked them out, and I stayed on the phone with my mom until they left.
