Thanksgiving drama. Pushy MIL.

I am a first time poster here and have seen you guys give great advice. A little background, MIL and I used to get along until I got pregnant. She then went BSC. She had a temper tantrum about the name we chose, invaded my personal space my whole pregnancy by always trying to touch my belly and give unwanted advice, and major boundary stomping after my delivery. I had a csection with DD and when we got home, I came down with a spinal headache. I was essentially bed ridden for a week bc the only thing that helped was laying flat in bed. Well, DH invited his mom to help and she took it as an opportunity to play mommy bc I couldn't get out of bed. We eventually got into a fight halfway through her stay and there has been tension since.

Fast forward to now. DD is 9 months old and we are having Thanksgiving at our house. MIL and AIL are coming as well as my mom and grandma. Everyone lives 2 hours away. MIL asked us a few weeks ago if she could take DD home with her for a few days. DD hasn't spent the night with anyone but us and I don't trust MIL. I said no. She is borderline alcoholic and has 8 dogs in the house. The house is disgusting and not for a baby. Well, she wrote DH an email tonight begging him to let lo come home with her even though I said no. DH showed me the email and wrote back no. I guess she felt she could go behind my back thinking DH would say yes even when I had already specifically said no. I am still raging just typing this. It has been like this since she was born. I always say no and she is still so persistent! Why does she need to be alone with my child? She has a whole damn Nursery set up at her house too. Ugh.

So my question is, when she predictably bugs me all day Thanksgiving again, how should I handle this? How many times can I say no? Is this CO worthy? I really didnt want drama on lo's first thanksgiving, but don't know how to avoid it. She's supposed to spend the night too! :( Sorry this was long!
