I was just looking through my wedding pictures and I had to laugh when I saw a group of pictures with my MIL holding DH's hand. I had completely forgotten about this until I saw these pictures. Not even 5 minutes after we were married, MIL tried holding DH's hand (which he confessed to me later he reeeaally didn't like). I remember thinking it was super strange at the time, but still being completely clueless about just how crazy my DH's mom really was.
Please tell me I am not the only one who thinks this picture is completely awkward.
For those who are curious to know what happened post awkard hand holding picture:
I have been married 3 years now and have an 18 month old and a 6 month old. It only took MIL 5 months after our wedding before she sent me my first›way-is-the-only-right-way email. That email alone should have warrented a lengthy TO, but I was still trying desperately to rugsweep everything for the sake of my DH. Here we are 3 years and many emails later from a MIL who is now completely CO for good. The way my MIL has acted could top even some of the worst posts I've read on here...
I'm thinking the awkward hand holding picture was very telling of what was in store for us. haha
