All of us are here because of inlaw problems. But what would've happened if you hadn't found DWIL at all? Would you have carried on being a doormat? Or do you think, eventually, you would have TO or CO the people who have made your life unbearable anyway? Or without DWIL would you have had the strength to follow through?
I thank my lucky stars that I found DWIL a few months PP. I wish I'd found it sooner but reading stories of people who let their inlaws walk all over them months or even years down the line I realize that its better to find your spine sooner rather than later and i'm one of the lucky ones.
So if this topic is not allowed feel free to delete but I'm merely curious. Where do you think you'd be without the help of DWIL in terms of your own happiness, boundaries and relationships? Would you have ever felt comfortable laying out reasonable boundaries to protect yourself and your children if it wasn't for this bunch of hot mommas telling you to get a grip and shine up your spine cos a shit storms a brewin'?
