Long time member. I know the drill and went anonymous so no one I know in real life finds me.
How do I tell my mil to stop talking about giving my dd (1 years old) a hair cut.
Background I have been with my DH for 7 years married for 2. We have a 3 year old DS and a 1 yr DD. We took my son for his first haircut when he was about 15 months old right before our wedding (literally the day before). With my daughter her hair is a little bit longer than my sons was but I really don't want to cut it yet. I've been so excited to grow her hair out so I can start putting pigtails and things in her hair (it's finally long enough for small pigtails). For a few months now my mil is on and off asking me/ telling me to take her for a haircut. I'm not too worried that she would do it behind my back because she's not like that but the comments are really annoying. I've talked to my DH who basically said she's all talk don't worry about it just ignore her. But it's really starting to bother me.
Any advice?
