Hi, a lady on my birth board told me about you guys and said I might need your advice. I'll explain the sitch and my plan (cutting and pasting from my birth club)

I don't know if this is on topic but I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Anyway - my mother in law, I don't know what to do. She hosted my shower for me (twins due 16th June) and I was super grateful. It was so beautiful. She has been a bit crazy about the babies but manageable. I was going to have the shower at my sister's but MIL insisted because her house is massive. Anyway, the shower was amazing, I was so grateful and humbled by the gifts. It came time to go and she said she'd get FIL to load the gifts into his ute and bring them over on the weekend. Weekend comes and goes no gifts. I ring her and she says "oh we've decided to keep the gifts here for when you bring the twins over."

Wtf? I mean I NEED that stuff for my house. The crazy cow isn't keeping it.

Anyway, I said to her that I thought that was ridiculous, it belonged to me and it wasn't her decision and she said she had already discussed it with my husband and he had agreed it would be fine (FYI I reckon that's bullshit). I can't get hold of my husband because he is away for work. Anyway - this is crazy yeah? I'm half tempted to haul ass across town and go get it all myself. My sister wants to punch her in the face.

I've called my husband who should be off shift (he works on the rigs) and I'm waiting to hear from him and I've left a message for my dad to help me go get my stuff (my car isn't big enough and I'm having trouble driving). I have a list of everything I got so I can tick it all off.
