Not a family member...but so glad I had DWIL!!!

I am a many month lurker and a very recent poster. I have taken in every bit of advice from you ladies (and gents) to help remove toxicity from my life.

For several months I have been the lead on organizing a three-day event for X activity in my city. Turn out was over 150 and the 5 events from Friday-Sunday went smoothly.

What's the problem you say?? The previous coordinator, he did it for a few years said he was tired of doing it solo and was turning it over. A few of us stepped up and began planning.

It culminated in an utter shit show with him on Friday, a true CTJ. Here is a list of the batshittery that led to the BSC

-Longass emails on

--Using the wrong shade of spring green in the website (he owns it and helpfully changed it)

--The dates aren't approved by him

--Unnaproved naming of the events, you know he donated an event and we are disrespectful

--I created a passport for the event, it wasn't appropriate for this event

--I desecrated his logo that he "owns" and I am rude and unprofessional.

I could go on but there are over 50 of these.

Then the CTJ. He ended up storming out when faced with a united front.

So here is what I learned from DWIL

-Don't JADE

---I explained nothing when hammered with the "but I don't understaaaaaand..."

---My answers to his emails were "no" thats it, my entire response

---Presented a United front with the committee (like a husband and wife)

This event is kind of like a scavenger hunt, in retaliation, he destroyed my puzzle (lawn tantrum?)

Next advice would be to change phone numbers or move if this was a MIL...

---We are building a new website, setting up a new logo competition and have blocked his email and SM accounts.

Anyone wanna guess his next move?
