I didn't know where to post this. My husband thinks I was out of line, I disagree. So I am wanting to know if maybe I was (I have a 2 week old baby at home so possibly a bit sleep deprived).
There is a ten-year-old neighbor boy that came by today wanting to ride my husband's motorcycle. He said no, obviously. Well, the kid responds with "Okay well I'll be here tomorrow to use it." and then asks my husband for a drink. So my husband gets him a drink and tells him no motorcycle rides, period. And sends him on his way.
He comes back at 10pm and starts knocking on the door, he's out running the neighborhood with his friends. At first, we ignored it since we figured he was just going to hassle us for more stuff. He keeps knocking. Again, and again, and again. I finally answered the door and the kid tries to barge in!! I blocked the doorway and he says "where is your boyfriend?" I said "My husbands in bed can I help you?" and he just says no and walks off!
My husband wasn't in bed, he was in the kitchen and thinks I was "a little harsh" because of my tone. I was pretty snippy. Overreacting? Or no?
