and I know I'm probably overreacting. I need honesty.
DH, myself, and DD (she's 20 months) live next to our in laws. Mistake #1. We're looking for houses but money is tight. We should be out by December.
Anyway, normally every night or at least a few times a week, DH takes DD over to play in their yard while I eat/shower. It's a nice little vacation. Except last night it went to hell.
DH comes back a bit later than usual and says that FIL took DD on a walk without telling him. That he doesn't know where they are but they've been gone 20 minutes. I felt like throwing up. FIL is in his 70's, I would never leave DD alone with him! I asked where MIL was and apparently she was out. So while DH was helping with the lawn. FIL says he's going to show her a flower on the side of the yard, and just left the property.
Finally DH find them about 15 minutes away. I'm so livid. I called my mom, who lives out of state, and she thinks I'm overreacting. She's probably right but what if something happened? Like she was hit by a car and I thought she was freaking next door the whole time.
Should I just forget about it? I couldn't even sleep and I'm still really mad but don't know if it's just PMS hormones or I'm just crazy.
