Ugh where to begin...my hubs is from West coast and moved to eat coast for me. We got pregnant, got married and just had our 2nd LO. My MIL from literally the day I flew out to meet her has been aweful. Hubs is an only child and she has been married 3 unsuccessful times and gave him a TERRIBLE childhood. She is a classic narcissist(diagnosed by our marriage counselor) and the most manipulative, over dramatic, guilt giver I ever met. She has said and done some pretty aweful, hurtful things to me then pretends to care and want to be my friend. I had my last straw in December w an incident and I'm done. I will be cordial when I have to be in her presence but will not go out of my way or let her manipulate any more. She now wants to come visit. Her last trip, she never asked if it was ok and came and stayed, in our home, w her boyfriend for 11 days. We had just moved in to our new home and I was 7mths pregnant. She did nothing to help while here, interjected into an argument my hubs and we're having and made it worse, and truely couldn't have bothered w my son who she claims desperately wants a relationship with. After December's situation, she is no longer welcome to stay in my home. She can come visit LO's but needs to clear the dates w us. My hubs bs's around the topic and let's her manipulate so I finally just texted her dates. She wanted to come in may, we are booked every weekend. Then she said june, I told her we are booked every weekend but here's 2 weeks(minus the weekends) we are freed up. She texts back oh then I'll come in July and it's over a weekend. Our weeks are so busy that My weekends are for my family in the summer to go do things together. I know my hubs will argue this with me to just let it go and let her come when it works for her but I don't want to allow that. Am I being petty, should I just let it go and let her come her dates?? Help!
