We have a 3 month old, and both of our families live out of state. My inlaws just notified us that they are looking for a vacation home within a 5 mile radius of our house because they feel like they're missing out on time with their granddaughter. It's a free country, so there's nothing I can do to about their choice to get a vacation home. My problem is, I like things the way they are now. I LIKE seeing them 2-3 times a year, and don't want them invading our space or feeling like I'm obligated to hang out with them whenever they're here. My MIL plans on coming at least once a month, and obviously would expect to see us each time. Should I say anything about my feelings about all of this?
